Cam4 World Cup Contest – Win $1,000
So are you hyped about the World Cup? Everyone here is talking football. Our favorite Friday night restaurant has installed a new big screen TV to watch the action. Me, I’m going to Europe in a week and I will be in Italy and France when they are playing their matches. It will be great to see how the Italians and French react at home.
I think that are a lot of World Cup fans on Cam4, as all of the leading countries are represented here. So I thought a World Cup contest with some cash prizes would provide some extra excitement. It’s always better when there is a little action on the game. Am I right? So here is the deal.
Before the first game starts, leave a comment here on the blog with
a) Your cam4 user_name and
b) Your favorite team/country
If your team makes it to the final game, Cam4 will give you a 1 month free gold membership and enter your name in a draw to win $500.
If your team wins the world cup, Cam4 will make that a 3 month free gold membership and enter your name in a draw to win $1,000.
We will draw and announce all the winners here on the cam4 blog.
Frankly, I think the Argentina team looks good. ;-)

TennisKing – If 1,000 people choose Spain and 1,000 choose Italy, and both Spain and Italy make it to the final game, then whoever choose the winner of the final will get a gold membership for 3 months and whoever choose the loser will get a on month membership. All 2,000 would get a gold membership of some sort. The people that picked Italy and Spain would also get their names in a draw for $1,000 USD or $500, depending on who won the world cup. I’m a Czech Republic fan, but they don’t play the world cup. So I guess that Spain will play the final game.
Like many Americans, I know absolutely nothing about soccer except that it’s called football everywhere else in the world, and I had no idea the US even had a team in this. So with all that knowledge, I’m gonna throw my guess in here and say…Slovenia FTW! :P
