Do You Need A Moderator on CAM4? Meet WerewolfHH
Some CAM4 performers have moderators, some do not, and some want to know what does a moderator do and how do they help performers. To get answers to these questions I reached out to CAM4 moderator Andyhh973. He joined CAM4 4 years ago as a viewer but after being on the site for awhile he became a moderator for some CAM4 performers. Find out below how a moderator can help your shows.
How did you find out about CAM4?
About 4 years ago I was on some other camsites just as a viewer, and a CAM4 advertisement popped up. So I was curious and checked out CAM4, and relatively fast CAM4 became my favourite camsite. That’s why i deceided to create my first account, and here I am!
How did you become a moderator?
Before I became a moderator, I wast just an usual viewer. The comments of viewers sometimes makes me run wild. I try to change the mood in some rooms with my own comments, tell other viewers to calm down, and to tip if they have some requests. Also telling viewers not to be rude and harmful. One day, one of my favourite models decided to give me the moderator control. As it became regular, I created a new account and deleted the old one. This was the beginning of andyhh973. As a moderator the sexual aspect of the cam/model doesn’t matter to me, I always try to focus on the chat! But anyway “My girls” are aswesome to watch! ;)
Do you have a CAM4 performer crush?
Crush? I prefer a lot of the girls on CAM4. Most of them are really nice, beautiful, and kind. But for me its more a “friendship” than a crush. There was only one girl, with whom it was more than friendship. But she quit performing about 2 years ago. Some of my favourites models I mod for are, Fallenstar77, chemicalgirl, preetywoman, lililafole, milk_pry and hellosquirty. Some ex-performers were redgabrielle and fuckable_2. But there are a lot of girls I like, who I don’t mod for. ;)
Why should performers use a moderator?
At some point in the performance, the model does not have a chance to react and chat when reaching her goal and saying “thank you” to additional tippers. With her moderator in the room, she can focus on the performance and the mod says thanks to the tippers for her.
How does a performer pick a good moderator?
Well there are different ways to mod and handle a room. When picking a moderator it should always be a matter of TRUST! In my opinion the models shouldn´t pick their highest tippers for this job, because it may happen that those “moderators” kick or ban other tippers to get the full attention of the model. The Moderator should be able also to answer personal questions about the model if needed, like boob size, orientation, age and so on.
How does a moderator help a performer?
First the model and the moderator have to decide if the room wants to play in the “cam of the day” challenge or if tips and goals are priority. Every model needs to decide how they want to be moderated. Depending on this, the moderator need to find his way to silence, kick or ban viewers. So I think it’s a big help for the model, to do her performance instead of argueing with “trolls”. Also the moderator should do the advertising stuff for the model, like “rate her 5 stars” , “follow on twitter”, “add to favs and subscribe to her shows.” The moderator has a big influence on the chat flow, doing things like cheering the model up, welcoming the regulars and pushing the goal.
Should a performer use more than one moderator?
In my opinion a performer needs only one moderator, but there are exceptions where it’s helpful to team up with another mod who follow the same guidelines as I do. That’s why i keep in contact with other well known moderators on CAM4. To be sure “my girls” are safe when I am not around and to help them out with their girls, if needed.
For people like this “Bon” is that we need a moderator, cam4 is full of wonderful people but there are a lot of idiots too who only want to create a bad atmosphere in the rooms trying bad viewers and performers.. Andy doesnt give this people the chance to mess with us or our rooms!and i really apreciate his job and im gratefull for all what he does for us , thank you Andy you are the best mod ever!
Moderators are absolutely essential to making a room rum smoothly and ideally to make more tips for the model. Andyhh is a total pro when it comes to unwanted bad chat and freeloaders from taking away from the show. If guys actually can get offended by something that Andy or any mod says, then you get butthurt way too easy Espescially if your not paying to be here. This isn’t fb I have never seen andy be rude to anyone who didn’t already make some rude demand. Believe me modding a room with over 1000 users takes a lot more of the moderator options to maintain a good, comfortable tipping environment! The models work hard. They deal with more stress than it appears. I work with one model everyday. I mod others for fun and if they need and deserve it. My main girl, I am also there to be a friend and an ear or shoulder if she needs one. It is perfect teamwork. We inspire each other every day to make this sexy, fun and comfortable for all that want to stop by and join in! I deal with some customers like i was a bartender, hearing their problems, laughing with them and getting them excited about the show and tipping! I love when i am complimented for helping to make the room unique and a really good time for all that want to play along! So glad to see more girls using good mods! Anyone can remind a room to tip, Good modding skills go way beyond that. Be kind to the moderators guys! Much more than you think, we are helping you to get a better show!

Watch a room twice, once with moderators (good noes) and without. Watch the flow. Watch the tipping. Watch the “thank you mod” messages for information on the broadcaster.
Mods don’t make or break rooms, but they sure can make it a finely-tuned machine.
Keeping chat going in slow rooms is important, too. I often will ask the broadcaster if I’m chatting too much, and not once have been told yes I am.
Also, the things that mods can do off-cam, like DMCA takedowns for the rooms they mod for, is important, also.

Only ones who are having problems with moderators are trolls, spammers, beggars and in this 2 upper cases I think it is about “wannabe” mods who don’t get chances to mod or getting it but don’t do it well. I mod also and every good guy and tipper don’t have anything against the mods (OK in every rule there are exception) and if the performer is pleased I consider job well done. The thing in why do you need to ban quickly is to prevent that individual to break the room or Cam4 rules more times and to remove spam messages from chat as soon as posible. And you can’t do mod job quietly because in rooms with lots of viewers it is constant flow in and out of the room and new trolls, spammers and beggars are circulating. I think by the way of insidious way of writing those upper remarks I can even recognise one of those wannabe mods but gentleman never kiss and tell ;)).

Moderator or not moderator… that’s the question!
One thing i don’t like on critical comments is, when the critic hides himself behind an anonymous “nick”. To criticize in a constructive and positive way, leave your hide-out!
As one of “Andys models” I can tell that i definately prefer his way to moderate over the way of other moderators. I never lost a “good tipper” or “tips” because of him. He’s kind to all viewers and I like his way to support me. He warns spammers, advertisers and rude viewers as long as i want it… but he also knows the right moment, when warnings lead to nothing and it’s time to “pull the trigger”. I trust him in this and had never to check my banlist after for unbanning failures!
He always finds the right time to remind my viewers to rate, favorite and subscribe my schedule on cam4 or follow me on twitter… Having him in my room made me gain a lot of followers btw.
I have never had any direct problem with Andy, he has never silenced, kicked or banned me from any room but I do not like his style of Moderating. I find him rude, abrasive and unnecessarily aggressive. If I find myself in a room where he is moderator, I leave simply because he creates a bad vibe through the constant berating other chatters and viewers. It is often said that a good moderator works like a ninja, silently (for the most part) doing the job. Having a moderator that has to respond to every demand, tell every single person off for asking for skype or private shows is not only off putting, but its annoying for those who just want to relax and have a good time. As mentioned in a comment above, one look at his profile and it is easy to tell that his style of moderating is overboard and is very much about trying to impress people and appear to be tough. A moderator should not bring personal problems they have with other viewers into a room, in other words, if a moderator had a run in with a user in another room, he or she has no right to instantly ban that user from a different room they are moderating if that particular model has no problem with that user. Moderators should be impartial. My comment here may sound harsh, but I am being honest. I personally think Andy will hurt the success of models rather than improve it. A good moderator can make or break a room.
It’s hard to know where to begin on this one. AndyHH973’s style of modding is the epitome of what it is to be a bad moderator. He is almost entirely motivated by his own ego and point scoring against other chatters and tippers rather than what is in the best interest of performers.He contributes virtually nothing in terms of chat an atmosphere. You only need look at his profile page to gage his mature and balanced approach towards banning “But be sure to get reported and banned in every room where i do my job!” The only thing that was missing there were his hobbies which include holding a magnifying glass over ants and destroying sand castles on the beach Every model I have witnessed using his services has suffered in terms of tips and viewers due in large to his hostile personality ,constant spamming of information that any user on the site would be aware of within the first 5 mins purely to garner praise from the performer and of course his rampant banning sprees.I myself have never been banned by him just incase someone accuses me of having a vendetta against him .My advise to models seeking to go down the moderator route never mod a self styled Moderator choose a nice regular who doesn’t ask for it. My advise to cam4 remove the ban option from mod controls who knows it may even ease the servers load.
Where should i begin to tell my point of view…
1. I never asked a model to be her moderator!
2. Yes, i kick and ban fast in the chats, because the girls i mod for, are prefering this style of modding!
3. Tell me one Performer who lost good tippers or viewers because of my modding!
4. I never said that i am the best moderator on cam4, but i know that i am one of them, who does this job a long time.
5. Yes, i am a hard mod with strict rules, and maybe sometimes for some trolls it may be annoying to read the rules again and again.
But when you moderate a room, with more than 1000 people, the viewerrate change constantly and the new people need to know the rules.
6. Maybe u guys should ask the models i mod for, why if they don´t like my modding style, they always give me the moderator rights again?
7. I never fight personal fights in models rooms! The “But be sure to get reported and banned in every room where i do my job!” is just a warning for some over motivated trolls!
I dont like some people, but i accept them in the rooms where i mod for, as long they behave and beeing nice to the model and other viewers.
8. And believe me, i have some great hoobies, but hurting kids or animals are not on my fav list! ;)

Mods are losers, spending hours in those boring chat rooms, doing the begging for tokens for the girls, when they should be begging for the tokens themselves. I never give a penny to a girl with a moderator bcz I’m sick of seeing the begging and nagging from dickhead moderators. I do give 1 star. I’ve been banned before but what you dicks don’t understand is that I can still see the performer after logging out. HAHAHA. I just open another account if I wanna heckle some bitch. Fuck mods losers.
