CAM4 Is Victorious Over Live Cams Archiver Site!
Last week, CAM4 was awarded ownership of the live cams archiver site known as cam4-archiver.com after a ruling concluded that the domain was registered in bad faith.
As you all know, Cam4-Archiver.com offered recorded camshows mainly from CAM4 along with some other sites. The recordings could be downloaded by users, though none of the recordings were submitted or approved by the actual creators.
The official description on Cam4-Archiver.com states “Download thousands of cam show videos from various cam sites like MyFreeCams, Chaturbate, ShowUp.tv, Cam4, etc. — all sorted by date on one place.”
In the end, legal arbitrator David Stone ruled for CAM4, deciding that the owner of Cam4-Archiver.com likely picked up Cam4Archiver.com to divert traffic for his own gain. Stone ordered the ownership of Cam4-Archiver.com to be transferred to CAM4.
