The Mainstreaming of Erotic Humiliation

After a long day of work, I poured myself a glass of Malbec, and sat down to watch one of my favorite shows, Californication. True to its name, the show depicts unabashed sexual situations, particularly by the chick-magnet protagonist, Hank Moody, which not too surprisingly, is a common handle among cam viewers.

Hank is not the only character that symbolizes how uninhibited Showtime perceives its audience to be. There is also Charlie Runkle, a divorced friend of Hank’s, who recently ran laps around his living room when he accomplished his goal of sleeping with 100 women – is it no surprise Californication is written by a man?

When Charlie’s preschool son exposes himself to a female schoolmate, Charlie meets with his son’s teacher and then chooses to apologize directly to the girl’s mother – by going to her home.

The little girl’s mother is wildly attractive — as are most of the women on the show. She’s also ferocious, demanding and divorced. While the two are in her grandiose kitchen, she begins berating Charlie and asking him if he’s going to show her his penis.

“Why would I show you my penis?” he asks.

“Why wouldn’t you?” she spits back.

Then she commands him to take it out. He unzips and begins to masturbate behind the kitchen’s granite island. She insults his penis size; indicating that it’s no bigger than his son’s and that he’s just as bad as his son for exposing himself. With each insult, Charlie beats more quickly, with a glazed expression of immense pleasure. He then ejaculates in the kitchen, interrupted by the nanny.

I gave a mental clap when I saw this scene, sitting upright and at the edge of my sofa, amazed that I had just watched the mainstreaming of a fetish, specifically, erotic humiliation. Additionally, Charlie was portrayed as a “normal” guy…hell, he’s slept with 100 women. Erotic humiliation is considered a fetish, perhaps an unusual one by many, and having it acted out on screen by the lovable, wanna-be stud, Charlie Runkle is superb.

When I worked as a camgirl, I was bewildered when asked to insult my viewer about the size of his penis. He told me to point and laugh when he turned on his cam. He promised he’d tip. After getting offline, I did a quick search and discovered this was erotic humiliation and given the prevalence of such information on the Internet, I felt naive.

The beauty of engaging with cam models, versus watching porn or going to a strip club, is that Cam4 provides an arena that is sexually freeing due to the anonymity. Most models are happy to comply if it pleases a tipping viewer. If it’s mutually beneficial, it can be repeated; if it doesn’t work, there’s no awkward subsequent interaction. Your cam model isn’t someone you will accidentally bump into on the street. Unfortunately for Hank Moody, his sexual interludes invariably come back to haunt him. Maybe he should give camming a try.

She is a member of a few specialty discussion groups on the internet. A complete social circle apparently.

Along a similar track, when she hit her 40s my ex wife discovered that what really got her motor running was dominating men (I guess maybe that’s why our sex life flattened out). She would have sessions with guys at a local motel and they seemed to like it though it held no appeal to me so I never asked her for extensive details. but it sure seems to have worked for her
