Who’s Faking It? CAM4 Insights Uncovers the Fake O

Our latest survey results found that 76% of women had an orgasm the last time they got it on… compared to 92% of their partners. After seeing this we decided to go deeper into who exactly the 57% of women have faked an orgasm before are.

66% of surveyed American women have faked an orgasm, tied with Germany. French women fell not too far behind at 62%. This isn’t a geographic trend as much as it’s an age and lifestyle trend. Younger single women are the most likely to have faked it – 60% most likely compared to 57% for the 50+ group. My personal hypothesis is, these women are part of a more honest generation who are more likely to tell the truth about orgasms than their mother or grandmother. As a young single woman you’re also likely experimenting with others and yourself, and not yet in a longterm relationship for 10 years with a dude who’s got a PhD in making you cum.

And let’s not forget, there’s a multitude of reasons for faking an orgasm. From having one too many glasses of wine, feeling insecure, lack of communication, or not wanting to hurt the ego of your partner.

So yes, faking it is pretty common. But it’s not always because we’re having bad sex. So next time you’re with someone, communicate well and make sure you do you. In the meantime, check what CAM4 stars and pornstars had to say about faking it at the AVN Awards, on the official CAM4 Youtube channel.
